Many ask me about detoxing.. from food but why?

In my opinion there is no need for a whole day of detox from food. FOOD WE NEED FOR OUR BODY to function!!!

It is good to detox maybe when you had a lot to drink a day before, or maybe went all out and just had a binge day full of crappy food, ( and you dont feel hungry the start of the next day)

If it is the case that you might had gone a little over board with drinking and bad food, then I always say YES make a detox drink, and have some apple cider drink on an empty stomach the next day.

It does help. One of my favorite "detox" drinks to make is a spinach detox

1 green apple

1/2 piece of ginger fresh

1/4 lemon

1/2 cup of spinach

1/2 cup of water

1/2 cup of ice

(optional to add other greens like celery)

but I add this to my meal.

So unless you have a crappy day the day before there is no need for a detox day!
